Play fairly

Play your own moves. Using an engine against a person in a rated game, stalling to run a clock down, or arranging results between accounts will get those games voided and the account restricted.

Be civil

Chat, usernames and comments are moderated. Harassment, slurs and spam are removed, and repeated abuse ends the account.

What we promise

The rules as published on each variant's page are the rules the server enforces. If we change one, the change is recorded. We do not promise the site is always up, and a game interrupted by an outage is voided rather than scored.

What is yours

Your games and what you write remain yours; you give us permission to show them here as part of the site working. The games themselves are public domain, and this implementation is ours.
